Jasmine Dress

Fashion

Spent the weekend hanging with amazing humans and gaining inspiration online to slowly transform my closet. I’ve lost interest in more than half the things in there and I feel like my style is developing into something else.

While gaining inspiration online I came across this dress.

Do you ever feel like you’re constantly waiting for the weekend? I do. And I’m happy as hell its here!

The weather in MYR is finally starting to feel a bit more like spring so when I saw this top in a local boutique I couldn’t pass up trying it on. I love the detail of the off-the-shoulder look and how it ruffles in

Jean Shirt

Fashion

This week has completely flown by! I love when that happens!

I saw this jean top a couple of weeks ago in Anthropologie (when I went shopping in Charleston) and thought it’d be a really nice staple piece to add to my closet. I love how amazing the quality of clothing is in that store! I truly believe in spending more money on items that are going to last

Weekend vibes

Fashion

It’s finally the weekend and I genuinely couldn’t be more excited! I feel like this week has completely taken its toll on me. Who knew that blogging would be so damn time consuming? Actually, who am I kidding? It’s down right effing stressful. I have so many ideas that I want to get out there, but its become a little difficult to find the time between myself and the amazing person who helps me shoot for my posts to meet up during the day. We both have full-time jobs with completely opposite schedules. I guess

Lightweight trench

Fashion

Today’s my first day back at my 9-5 job and I’m missing my vacation terribly! I have a quick little break right now so I figured I’d upload this post.

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect trench coat for what seems like forever. I wanted it sturdy enough to hold its shape and also keep me warm, but lightweight enough to easily transition from winter to spring. I came across this coat a couple of days ago while shopping in Charleston and I knew I had to own this.

Birthday + Boone, NC

Travel

This past weekend was my birthday and I was surprised with a trip to Boone, North Carolina. It has been on my bucket list for awhile now so to say I was excited when I found out would be an understatement :). When we arrived to our Airbnb we exhaustedly unloaded the luggage and took it inside of the cozy little one bedroom apartment. It was beautiful. Two tall glass windows surrounded the glass front door. This was my favorite feature of the apartment because of all the natural light that shined throughout the room. I’ve been using Airbnb for over a year and a half now, and it’s the only way I travel. It’s life changing. I seriously believe its the door to endless possibilities while traveling. If you sign up with this link you get $35 off your first adventure!

The first place we visited after checking into our Airbnb was Lost Province Brewing Co. Oh. My. Gosh. So damn good! The muscles that I demolished were completely out of this world and the pizza was phenomenal. We went to this place before the launch of my blog (I was super nervous and super excited all

Venturing out for long weekends have always been a favorite thing of mine. There’s just something about visiting a new city that excites me. Experiencing the tastes of different local foods and breweries, and visiting amazing coffee shops where beautiful boutiques and vintage shops are just a stroll away. But lets get into why I’m really doing this post lol.

Winter Skincare Favs

Lifestyle

During the winter I like to toggle between these two cleansers. Mario Badescu is a deep cleanser that I use whenever my face is feeling really lifeless and a bit icky (you know, that feeling when you wake up not really realizing who you’re staring at in the mirror). Also helps with restoring skin from minor skin irritations (rashes, etc.). Love using this in conjunction with my moisturizer (more on that towards the end of the post). On to the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser. I actually received this cleanser as a gift from a Kiehl’s store in Florida. I love how gentle it is yet mighty. Meaning, it takes off all of my leftover makeup without leaving anything behind. I use my makeup remover wipes and put some of this on my Clarisonic Mia 2 and PRESTO!! I feel like a new woman!!

Kiehl’s has steadily become one of my favorite skincare brands. And this serum is definitely one of the reasons why. This Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate has done wonders for my skin. It promotes new skin cell turnover which is a plus with these very cold winter months and my flaky skin (sorry if that’s too much TMI). I’ve tried a couple of face scrubs and they’ve all come up short (apart from a Burt’s Bee’s one that I can’t find anywhere, but online *sad face*). I use this about one or two times a week!

These Skinny Jeans

For as long as I can remember Sundays have always been my lazy days, but since I’ve started this blog, its quickly turned into a working day. And I’m not complaining one bit! I’m always really excited to see what unfolds with this new adventure of mine! Anyways, on to the post..

I’ve had these jeans on repeat for awhile now. And I’m not ashamed to say it. These sateen skinny ankle jeans are absolutely amazing and they’ve definitely become a staple in my wardrobe. Dressing them up or
